I am a cognitive (neuro)scientist specializing in the behavioral and neural basis of visual attention. In August 2025, I will begin my faculty career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological Science at Ball State University. Currently, I am a postdoctoral associate in the Department of Psychology at the University of Florida where I work with Dr. Steven Weisberg in the Spatial Cognition and Navigational Neuroscience Laboratory and with Dr. Natalie Ebner in the Social-Cognitive and Affective Development Lab. My research investigates the contributions of attention on spatial cognition and navigation, and how these processes decline in aging and Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias.

Before moving to The Swamp, I was a postdoctoral research associate in the Visual Cognition Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, working with Dr. Emily Ward. I completed my PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee under the supervision of Dr. Adam Greenberg in the Sensory Neuroscience, Attention, and Perception Laboratory (now at the Medical College of Wisconsin).
